4th Fire – Fire 🔥 of Authentication
●Prophet Elijah asks King Ahab to assemble all the prophets of Baal and Asherah on Mount Carmel.
● The challenge was to prove who was the true God ,Baal or Yahweh .
●Thus ,all the prophets of Baal and Asherah assembled on Mount Carmel
●1 Kings 18:24 Then you call on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord; and the God who answers by fire, He is God.”
●Then the Prophets of Baal start calling out to their god and receive no reply
●Verse 24 says: And when midday was past, they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice. But there was no voice; no one answered, no one paid attention.
●Verse 36 says : Elijah the prophet came near and said, “Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant , and that I have done all these things at Your word
●We notice that Elijah uses the phrase “let it be known ‘
● Elijah is actually seeking authentication from God .
●Verse 36
Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your word.
●Elijah wants Yahweh to authenticate his words are true by proving that He,Yahweh, is the one true God, and there is none else.
●In the next verse he again seeks authentication that Yahweh is the true God.
Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that You are the Lord God , and that You have turned their hearts back to You again.”
●Elijah also wants God to authenticate that he (Elijah) is a real servant of God .
●So if today someone is trying to tell you that you are not called by God, God will authenticate your calling!
●When the Apostles were put in prison, an angel appeared and led them out
Then, they are later seen again preaching the Word of God.
●This is an authentication of their call and also an authentication of their ministry as well.
●If you are called by God and if, due to your call, you end up facing many challenges, rest assured that God will definitely authenticate you in front of your challengers.
5th Fire 🔥: Fire of Supernatural
●Elijah’s name actually comes from two Hebrew words” El Yahweh,” which literally translates to Yahweh is God.
●In 2 Kings 2 , when it was almost time for Elijah to ascend to heaven, there was a young man who followed Elijah everywhere, Elisha.
●We read in the Bible this story of impartation.
●We read that they moved from Gilgal (place where you live by faith) to Bethel (place of worship) ,then came to Jericho ,and later supernaturally crossed the Jordan River
●Here, we see that Elijah supernaturally parts the Jordan River
●2 Kings 2:8 8 Now Elijah took his mantle, rolled it up, and struck the water; and it was divided this way and that, so that the two of them crossed over on dry ground.
● Fire 🔥 represents the glory of God .
When you carry the glory of God , everything will become supernatural.
●Supernatural will become something very natural for you !
Elisha made wise decision to ask Elijah double portion of his anointing.
●When God appeared to Solomon, he asked for wisdom ,and God grants him supernatural wisdom
●Similarly ,David asks for anointing from God.
●The request made by Elisha to Elijah was granted by Elijah, but the answer was conditional!
●The request could only be fulfilled if Elisha moved in the spirit realm. What he asked for could not be possible in the natural.
●Elijah lived in the supernatural.He moved in the spirit realm.
●What happens in the spirit realm can be perceived only if you too move in the spirit.
●But Elisha saw it, it means he too moved in the spirit realm.
●But how did Elisha achieve this ,
He worked with all sincerity as a helper to Elijah ,and as he continued to work diligently ,he too started to move in the spirit realm.
●This ultimately helped Elisha fulfill the condition made by Elijah in order to receive the double portion
● in Verse 11 ,12 ,and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
12 And Elisha saw it , and he cried out, “My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!”
●Here we see that Elisha sees Elijah in fact, saw Elijah being taken up
And then, in verse 13 ,the mantle falls on Elisha ,and he ends up receiving the double portion he asked for !
●So if you move in the realm of the Spirit, the 🔥 fire of the supernatural will fall on you !
6th Fire Fire of Revival
In Acts 2 on the day of Pentecost ,a new Testament fire 🔥 fell on the desciples
●This fire 🔥 that fell on them was a sign of Revival, a sign of Glory, a sign of transformation, and also a sign of the Holy Spirit residing inside of them
●Earlier ,the Holy Spirit did not reside, He only led them.
●Deuteronomy 9:3 Therefore understand today that the Lord your God is He who goes over before you as a consuming fire.
●Then the fire was only with them it never resided ,they were only following God.
●In the New Testament in Acts, we notice that the fire 🔥 rested on them
●Now ,the source of fire resides on the inside of those
●They began to carry the fire instead of following the fire.
●You, too, will become a carrier of glory, 🔥 fire, and revival.
●The Holy Spirit ,who is the source of Revival ,resides in you !!!
●The source of Fire 🔥 is residing in you !!
